5 Features of Orthopedic Dog Beds

1) Dual-Layer Orthopedic Core: Features a high-density, therapeutic foam base that provides superior structural support compared to standard fiber-fill beds.

2) Ultra-Plush Shaggy Faux Fur: A high-GSM (grams per square meter) synthetic fur that provides a luxury aesthetic and a soft-to-the-touch finish for high-end retail appeal.

3) TPU Waterproof Internal Liner: A 100% moisture-proof barrier that encases the foam core, preventing liquid penetration from accidents or spills.

4) Heavy-Duty Non-Skid Base: The bottom is engineered with a rubberized, point-plastic fabric to ensure stability and safety on hardwood, tile, or laminate flooring.

5) Industrial Hidden Zipper System: Equipped with a reinforced, concealed zipper that allows for easy removal of the cover while remaining "chew-resistant" to pets.

5 Functions of Orthopedic Dog Beds

① Joint Pressure Relief: The orthopedic foam functions as a weight-distributor, significantly reducing pressure on the hips and joints for senior or large-breed dogs.

② Advanced Hygiene Management: The fully removable and machine-washable cover allows for effortless cleaning, ensuring the bed remains odor-free and hygienic for long-term home use.

③ Anxiety-Reducing "Calming" Effect: The high-pile shaggy fur functions as a sensory comfort tool, mimicking a mother’s coat to help lower cortisol levels in anxious pets.

④ Core Longevity Protection: The waterproof lining functions as a shield for the orthopedic foam, ensuring the internal materials do not degrade over time due to mold, mildew, or moisture.

⑤ Multi-Surface Safety: The anti-slip function prevents the bed from sliding during entry or exit, protecting pets from potential slips and reducing the risk of floor scratches for the owner.

Care&Washing Instructions

Pre-Wash Preparation

(1) Vacuum First: Use a vacuum or lint roller to remove excess loose fur and debris. This prevents your washing machine filter from clogging.

(2) Remove the Cover: Unzip the concealed zipper and remove the internal cushions. Only the outer faux fur cover should be machine washed to preserve the structural integrity of the inner filling.

(3) Zip it Back Up: Before tossing the cover in the wash, zip it closed to prevent the zipper teeth from snagging the long faux fur fibers.

Machine Washing

(4) Temperature: Use Cold Water (max 30°C/85°F). High heat can damage synthetic faux fur fibers, causing them to lose their softness.

(5) Cycle: Select the Gentle or Delicate cycle.

(6) Detergent: Use a mild, pet-safe laundry detergent. Avoid bleach and fabric softeners, as these can leave a residue that makes the fur feel "crunchy" or greasy.

Drying (Crucial Step)

(7) Tumble Dry ONLY: To maintain the shaggy texture, tumble dry on Low Heat or Air Fluff.

(8) Avoid Air Drying: Unlike other fabrics, air-drying high-pile faux fur often leads to severe matting. The tumbling action is what keeps the fibers separated and "fluffy."

(9) Pro-Tip: Add 2–3 clean tennis balls or wool dryer balls to the dryer. This helps "beat" the fur back into its original loft and ensures the anti-slip bottom doesn't stick to itself.

Post-Wash Maintenance

(10) Shake & Reshape: Once dry, give the cover a vigorous shake outdoors to reset the fibers.

(11) The Slicker Brush Trick: If any areas look flat, a standard pet slicker brush can be used to gently brush out the fur and restore its "like-new" appearance.
